Reminders

Reminders List

Trash Can/Recyclng Bin Storage

Please store trash cans and recycling containers in your garage, not in front of your garage. The beauty of the neighborhood depends on your compliance. We realize some residents dislike the odor of dog poop and baby diapers in their garage so the board recommends and allows use of a small stainless steel receptacle to be left in front of the garage.

Snow

When snow is predicted, please move your car if parked on the street so the plows can do their job and fully clear the road. Cars in the parking lots do not have to be moved.  Also, when snow is predicted on trash or recycling day, please do not leave your trash can or recycling receptacle in the street so the plows can clear the streets curb-to-curb.

Trees

Declarations and covenants require a tree on your front lawn. If a tree dies it must be replaced with an approved type of tree listed in the Architectural section of this website. The beauty of the neighborhood depends on this. Your cooperation is expected.

Dogs

All dog poop needs to be picked up and properly disposed.

All dogs are required to be on a leash per Middletown Township Rules and Regulations.

Restraint required. No owner shall permit any dog to go at large upon any street, public

place or private property other than the property of the owner of the dog. All dogs using any street, public place or private property of anyone other than the owner of the dog shall be:

(1) On a leash or such other device as to keep the dog under the reasonable control of the person then handling such dog;

(2) In an enclosure from which it cannot escape;

(3) Firmly secured by means of a collar and chain or other device so that it cannot stray beyond the premises on which it is secured; or

(4) Under the reasonable control of the owner or accompanied by the owner.

Vehicles

All vehicles must be current with registration and inspection. No trailers or commercial vehicles are permitted to be parked on the premises overnight.

Lawn Items

Please be sure all lawn decorations, ornaments, and solar lights, etc. are protected in a mulch bed or rock bed so the landscapers won't damage them with mowers or string trimmers. We have had incidents in the past and going forward the landscapers will no longer be responsible for damage to unprotected items and may skip the area entirely.

The SCCA Board of Directors and your neighbors thank you for your cooperation.
